2007 Golf Outing to Support Museum’s Distinguished Lecture Series
(MADISON) ― There is still time to play at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum Foundation’s 3rd Annual Golf Outing fundraiser. The outing will be held on Tuesday, July 17th at the Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove. The event begins at noon. The cost to play is $125 per individual or $500 per foursome. Space is limited to the first 125 players.
The charitable event includes a four-person scramble, prizes for a wide range of competitions, and drawings for additional gifts. Proceeds from the event will be used to underwrite the museum’s Distinguished Lecture Series, held in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison History Department. Funds will also support the development of short-term exhibitions featuring artifacts and photographs from the WVM collections.
